Instructions
- Brown the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until it foams and develops golden-brown specks and a nutty aroma; transfer immediately to a bowl and cool for 20-30 minutes.
- Whisk the dark brown sugar, granulated sugar, vanilla, and nutmeg into the cooled butter until the sugars begin to dissolve.

- Whisk in the baking soda and salt until fully combined.
