Frequently Asked Questions

Can you help me scale my grandmother’s recipe?
Absolutely! Email us the recipe (or a photo of the handwritten card) and tell us what size you want. We’ll help translate it.

Do you take recipe requests?
We love hearing what you want to bake! While we can’t promise to develop every request, we keep a list and often develop recipes based on what readers ask for.

Can I submit a guest post?
We occasionally feature guest contributors. Email us with your idea, writing sample, and why you think it fits CakeHalf’s vintage small-batch focus.

Why haven’t you responded to my email?
We respond to every email, but sometimes things slip through spam filters. If you haven’t heard from us within 3-4 days, please resend.

Can I share your recipes on my blog/social media?
You’re welcome to share a photo and link back to our recipe. Please don’t republish the full recipe text—send your readers to us instead.

Do you offer baking classes or workshops?
Not currently, but we’re considering it! Sign up for our newsletter to be first to know if we launch classes.
